If you’ve built up a section of duplicate pieces or you’ve decided to sell your collection there are a number of options open to you.

You can either try to sell items individually or as a job lot.  Depending on how quickly you wish to sell, selling individually typically takes time but yields more income whilst selling as a job lot results in a quick sale but for less money.

Things to remember when selling

• Provide bright clear photos of the items
• Provide a detailed description i.e. does it come boxed, does it have its base label, or if a limited edition does it come with its certificate, is there any sign of damage, are you willing to post and if so does that include overseas?
• If you have been a member of our Facebook group for more than three months then you can use this to advertise items for sale.

eBay is a great platform to sell on primarily due to the number of users and its global reach however please note fees will be applied.

Other suitable selling platforms which are free to list include Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Vinted and Preloved.

If you have a large collection you are wishing to part with then you may want to consider the auction house route however like eBay seller’s fees will be applied.
