Colour Box Collector’s Club

1987-2000
Launched in 1987, the Collectors Club offered annual membership to fans of Colour Box Miniatures.  Each quarter a newsletter was issued featuring news, stories and updates of new releases.  Each member received a complimentary piece upon joining for the first time or when renewing their membership.  This special piece was updated yearly and members had the opportunity to personalise it with their name.

In 1995 the special membership piece broke from tradition and adopted a new idea.  Previously the membership piece featured cats and bears in one set piece, however in 1995 collectors had the choice of three different pieces, one for each of the main collections; Teddy Bears, Home Sweet Home and Pennywhistle Lane.  Collectors who wished to add more than one Club piece to their collection had the opportunity to add the other two pieces at an additional cost.

Membership also gave collectors the opportunity to purchase pieces sculpted by Peter Fagan exclusively for Collectors Club members.  These were often available as time-limited editions, rather than the quantity produced.
